“Can that even work together?” — That’s what people often think… until they hear Margarita and Taras live for the first time.
On stage, the duo ignites like fire and flame, like storm and silence. Every performance touches the audience deeply, making even the quietest hearts beat faster. The saxophone — often called the most “human” of all instruments — blends with the rich colors of the accordion to create a new musical language: expressive, soulful, and unforgettable.
Though this combination is rare and not widely represented in original compositions, there is a powerful and natural logic in this partnership. The saxophone unfolds its full vocal range — from deep bass to brilliant soprano — while the accordion surrounds and supports it with warmth and intensity.
We perform actively throughout Germany and beyond, giving over 50 concerts a year. Duo ConBrio has appeared on prestigious stages such as the Berlin Philharmonie, Elbphilharmonie, and Rudolf-Oetker-Halle, captivating audiences with charisma and artistry.
Duo ConBrio is the winner of multiple international competitions, including:
– World Open Music Competition 2025 — 1st Prize in DUO (two different instruments) — (96/100 points);
– Classical Stars International Music Competition — Absolute Winners in Chamber Music and titled Artists of the Seasons.
