ConBrio is a dynamic and passionate duo in musical expression, which has often given listeners unforgettable emotions. The saxophone voice, which music lovers also like to call the human voice of the instruments, gives the music experience a new sound in combination with the accordion. An appearance like fire and flame or storm and silence, which often makes even the hearts of quiet connoisseurs beat faster.
"Saxophone and accordion? - I can't imagine that this will work." - A typical set of listeners, before experiencing Margarita and Taras live in action for the first time. In fact, the combination is rather rare and therefore often overlooked in terms of the number of original compositions. However, there is a captivating logic in this magic, as the saxophone brings in its full vocal range from the deepest bass to the high soprano, while the accordion can accompany this powerfully.
Our repertoire includes Astor Piazzolla music, which is so close to the accordion, Pedro Iturralde with his Greek motifs, Carlos Gardel with his passionate tango Por una Cabeza. And, of course, some classical music: Jiri Kadlec - with his breathtaking piece "The Storm", which he arranged under the inspiration of Vivaldi's play of the same name and, of course, a few works by Gabriel Fauré.
